Forklifts docking at a row of battery chargers were working right up against the units and the services behind them. One misjudged approach could put a charger out of action and stop the fleet.

We installed a flexible, energy-absorbing impact barrier between the forklift lane and the chargers, with handrail behind it to keep the charging area clearly separated from moving plant.

Forklifts can dock without putting the chargers at risk, and people working in the charging area have a defined space of their own.
